1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a consultation, engaging our tutoring services, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Our Services

Arivon Tutors provides online, one-to-one academic tutoring and mentorship services for students across the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada. All sessions are conducted online via video call. We do not currently offer in-person tutoring.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if we determine that it is not in the best interest of the student or the tutor, or if these terms have been breached.

3. Bookings & Scheduling

• Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance unless otherwise agreed.
• We will confirm all bookings in writing (email or WhatsApp) before a session is considered confirmed.
• Session times are agreed between the client and Arivon Tutors and may be adjusted by mutual agreement.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at the full session rate.
• In the event that Arivon Tutors must cancel a session, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full reschedule at no additional cost.
• We understand that emergencies happen — please contact us and we will always aim to find a fair resolution.

5. Payment

• Our fees are agreed upon before sessions begin and confirmed in writing.
• Payment is typically requested in advance of each session or block of sessions, as agreed.
• All fees are stated in the currency relevant to the client's region (GBP, USD, or CAD).
• Invoices are issued electronically. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
• We reserve the right to pause or discontinue sessions where payment is overdue.

6. Conduct & Safeguarding

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all students and tutors. We expect all parties — students, parents, and tutors — to interact with courtesy and respect.

• All sessions are conducted online. Parents or guardians of students under the age of 18 are welcome to be present.
• Recording of sessions without explicit consent from all parties is not permitted.
• Arivon Tutors reserves the right to terminate a tutoring relationship if conduct is deemed inappropriate or harmful.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, resources, and content created or shared by Arivon Tutors during sessions are for the personal use of the student only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared commercially without written permission from Arivon Tutors.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we are dedicated to helping every student achieve their goals, Arivon Tutors cannot guarantee specific exam results or grades. Academic outcomes depend on a combination of tutoring support, individual effort, and external factors beyond our control. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality tutoring — the results are a partnership between tutor and student.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated to existing clients. Continued use of our services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version of these terms is always available on our website.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law in the client's jurisdiction.
